The Department of Media and Communication aims to cultivate creative and professional experts in broadcasting and video content production who can lead the rapidly evolving era of converged on- and offline media and multi-platform environments. Our goal is to foster individuals who communicate ethically and holistically with various audiences—including the public, consumers, and local communities—while responding to the growing global demand for creative media content.
The department offers a specialized global media convergence curriculum built on a video content production system. Courses include broadcasting and visual production, video commerce, and content creativity. Students enhance their communication skills and understanding of global media through writing, analysis, and insights into social and cultural trends, while developing the ability to deliver information, advertisements, and public relations messages creatively and innovatively.Through practical training in media planning, directing, cinematography, lighting, editing, motion graphics, and sound design, students gain comprehensive production skills. This enables them to become professionals capable of producing various forms of media communication, such as news, documentaries, advertisements, and personal media content, with the expertise required in the global content industry.
