With today's advancements in medicine, human life expectancy has increased, and due to the rapid growth in science and technology, public interest in sports, health, and leisure has never been higher. Since the new millennium, the role of sports has expanded across diverse areas of international society. Consequently, there is a growing demand to nurture individuals who would create new values through sports and lead the sports industry.
In recognition of a rapid, ever-changing contemporary society, our goal is to cultivate the next generation of global leaders who would spearhead future international sports industries. These leaders should be capable of initiating collaboration within the sports community, smoothly communicate with people of diverse cultures from all over the world, and integrate expertise related to sports into practice.
In particular, the Department of Sport has a distinguished, outstanding faculty who have diverse teaching experience both domestically and abroad and have guided students of multiple countries. In addition, our program intends to offer a balanced blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, combined with innovative course content that aligns with the trends of modern sports. Therefore, students can have the opportunity to venture into various sports-related industries such as sports leaders (teachers, professors, administrators, etc.), members of sports-related organizations and associations, elite & recreational sports leaders, health exercise managers, personal trainers, and even yoga/pilates instructors, among other roles.

Concentration
- Taekwondo : The Taekwondo concentration aims to lead the values of globalization, internationalization, and informatization in the 21st century and strives to cultivate professionals who can recreate and disseminate innovative Taekwondo that aligns with international demands. By integrating scientific and rational thinking with specialized techniques, the major offers a systematic curriculum that encompasses practical aspects of various Taekwondo areas such as sparring, patterns, and demonstrations. Students engage in diverse Taekwondo activities, from competitions to joint training and seminars. These experiences enhance their expertise and foster collaboration and respect. They also develop skills for scientific research and technological innovation in Taekwondo, positioning them as contributors to societal progress and emerging global creative talents.
- Sport: This concentration offers a comprehensive insight into the world of sports, encompassing a variety of disciplines. It aims to instill a strong foundation of sports theory and practice. Students will learn about sports management, administration, and the socio-economic impact of sports in society. Career paths can include sports administration, sports event management, coaching, and sports journalism.
- Sport Medicine: The Sport Medicine concentration bridges the gap between health science and physical activity. Students will be introduced to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries. They will understand the physiological and biomechanical principles behind athletic performance and will be trained to help athletes maintain optimal health and recover from injuries. - Golf: This concentration is dedicated to one of the world's most prestigious sports. Students will delve deep into the history, techniques, and business side of golf. From understanding course design and maintenance to mastering the swing technique, they will be prepared for a variety of roles in the golf industry. Graduates can pursue careers as golf instructors, course managers, club fitting specialists, or even professional golfers.
